Educational Testing Service (ETS) and China’s National Education Examinations
Authority (NEEA) announced today that registration for the Graduate Record
Examinations® (GRE®) General Test reopened at 12pm on April 25, 2007 at
. The testing format will remain the same as the current GRE® General Test; test
takers will take the Analytical Writing section of the General Test at a
computer-based administration, and the Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning
sections at a paper-based administration. Test takers will use the new online
registration system where they can choose to use either online payment (through
the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China or China Merchants Bank) or wire
transfer. Wire transfers from the Bank of China in Beijing municipality and
China Post electronic remittances will not be accepted.
